Testing and treatment services:
-
HIV: For all youth seeking HIV testing, a sexual health questionnaire will be completed with a discussion of strategies/goals to meet sexual health goals. Rapid testing is done with a finger stick or blood draw and results are available in 20 minutes. A positive rapid test result will be confirmed with a blood draw and an additional test. Youth with a confirmed positive result will be connected to HIV medical care and social services.
-
STI Testing is available for: syphilis, gonorrhea, chlamydia, Herpes, and trich. Herpes testing can only be done if you have a visible sore, otherwise you will need to see another clinic that can do a blood test. Herpes and trich testing can only be done during the Medical services hours (see days & times in the Medical Services section). All results are available in 2-3 days. FREE medical treatment is offered for all positive STI results.
-
PrEP: We offer PrEP (Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis) for those interested in the prevention of HIV through the use of daily medication. If you do not have health insurance, we have resources to assist with medical costs associated with this medication and the follow-up medical visits. If you have questions about whether or not PrEP would be right for you OR you would like to complete an intake for getting PrEP, you can contact:
